Hey there, lovely humans!

I’m Lottie — dog devotee, people-helper, and proud founder of People and Puppers, coming to you from the stunning Eurobodalla region on the south coast of Australia! (Think beaches, bushwalks, and so many wagging tails.)

Just before my 19th birthday, I packed my bags and left England, unaware that I was stepping into a journey far greater than I could have imagined. What began as an adventure became the foundation of a dream—building a life surrounded by pets and the extraordinary people who cherish them. It’s a path I never planned, but one I feel I was always meant to find.

Fast forward six years, and People and Puppers is my heart and soul. I’ve poured everything into learning about animal care, canine behaviour (currently studying behavioural psychology!), and building a service that helps both pets and their people live their best lives — together.

Along the way, this little business has stood strong through bushfires, floods, and a global pandemic — all without government assistance or any outside support. It’s been sheer grit, community spirit, and a whole lot of love for and from the People & Puppers that has fueled the forward motion. And I wouldn’t have it any other way

Now, here’s the tail-wagging twist in the story...

The beating heart of my biz — my old van — is hanging on by a thread. It's been my trusty steed for years now but with over 420,000km on the clock (yep, that’s more than the distance to the Moon — we’re technically on the return trip!) is becoming very unreliable in carting me and a lot of slobbery passengers around. The dog mobile is the hub for making magical doggy holidays, walkies, training, and home visits possible.

But… it’s just about ready to roll over for good. And without it, People and Puppers can’t keep doing what we do best — delivering wagtastic adventures to our beloved regulars and reaching out a friendly paw to welcome future furry friends too.

So, I’m reaching out for a bit of help to keep this dream on the road — literally.

- A new (or new-ish!) van to safely transport pets, equipment, and me to wherever the tail-wagging action is
