Help Lorrie get back on her feet
Donation protected
While on the Gold Star Mother's Friday pre-ride, outside of Summersville, West Virginia, Lorrie & her husband Paul were in a motorcycle accident. Lorrie sustained multiple broken bones, a brain bleed, and several contusions & abrasions. She was life-flighted to the trauma center in Charleston, West Virginia, for immediate care. Over the course of the weekend, she spent 12 hours in surgery while the fantastic doctors put her bones back together so she can start her path to healing. Today, she is smiling and ready to face the long road of recovery. It is going to be quite a few months before she will be home and able to get back to work. Let's do what we can to help!
Those of you that know Lorrie know what a kind-hearted & generous person she is. She is first in line to help & support those in need. In fact, she made over 200 toy soldier packs for Gold Star Mother's Bridge Ride that she & Paul were going to ride in on Saturday. Instead, all banged up & bruised himself, Paul dropped off the toy soldiers on his way to the hospital that morning.
Her strength & vitality know no bounds. She is always giving back!
Earlier this year, she fought her way back through breast cancer, tackling weeks of radiation like the true survivor that she is.
Please consider donating to help Lorrie get back on her feet. We all know she can do it, and with the kindness & generosity of your support, she will be able to do it without having to worry about the bills that are going to come with this battle. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
