My name is Brittany and I am fundraising for my grandmother-in-law, Lorraine Gardner. Her basement was recently destroyed in a flash flood, her basement had about 6 feet of standing water during the height of the flood. The water has receded, but left a lot of damage its wake. Like most Nebraskan's, her home owners insurance does not cover natural flooding, so all repairs will be out of pocket. She lives on a fixed income and is not able to afford the cost of clean up, let alone repair.
