Help Lorraine & Her Family Rebuild After a Devastating House

Hi, my name is Alisha, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my cousin Lorraine and her family, who are facing an unimaginable loss. On May 30, 2025, their home was tragically destroyed in a fire. In a matter of moments, they lost everything — their belongings, their memories, and the place they called home.

Miraculously, no one was home at the time, and their beloved dog Sosa, who was inside, was safely rescued. For that, we are incredibly grateful.

Lorraine is a dedicated elementary school teacher in Albuquerque, NM, who pours her heart into her students every day. She and her husband Hassan, a loving and hardworking father, are pillars in their community. Their children are active in baseball and Baila Baila, and the whole family is always the first to step up when others are in need.

Now, it's our turn to help them.

They’re starting from scratch and need support to rebuild their lives. Any donation — big or small — will go directly toward essentials like clothing, food, housing, and getting back on their feet.
