Help Lorraine, a Nurse, get back on the road after car fire
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Lorraine Burns. I am a nurse (LPN). Last night, I stopped at Walmart to get a couple of tarps (my roof was leaking from all the rain Sunday night) and flowers for my 2-year-old granddaughter for her school recital. Anyhow, I drove my car to work and to Walmart with no problems. When I was leaving, I turned the car on and there was smoke. I opened the hood and it was on fire. I was lucky I was surrounded by Good Samaritans; they shut the roof of my car and pushed it to the middle of the road. But as you can see, my car is a total loss.
I do not have any money to put down on a new car. I'm just going to try to get a scooter so I can continue to work. I would never ask for help, but I am desperate. I have to be able to get to and from work. Thank you for listening. God bless ❤️❤️
