Dear friends and kind-hearted supporters,

For years now, our dear friend Lorna has been quietly battling severe alopecia and awful eczema flares, choosing to keep this part of her life a private struggle.

Lorna has now made the brave decision to share her story. It’s a huge step for her and one that comes with a lot of vulnerability - facing the challenge of “coming out” about her condition and just how much it affects her.

Currently, Lorna is participating in a medical trial for new treatments, however, the process can be long and uncertain and there’s no guarantee she’ll receive the active medication. Despite this, she continues to hope for progress, but the emotional and physical toll remains and in the meantime, she'd love to have a high-quality wig that helps her feel comfortable and more confident during this time.

Lorna has always been there for us, a constant source of support, laughter, and love. Now it's our turn to rally around her and show her how much we care. Now, more than ever, she needs both emotional and financial support. The cost of a realistic and comfortable wig can be significant, and we want to help Lorna alleviate this financial burden so she can concentrate on her health.

We hope to raise £4,000 to help cover the cost of a new, bespoke, comfortable wig and the professional fitting service it requires. This will make a significant difference in her daily life, physically and mentally.
