Help Lori's fight against cancer

We’d like to introduce you to Lori Christoffersen. At 53 this cherished mother, grandmother and sibling was diagnosed with small-cell lung cancer. A case of pneumonia over Christmas uncovered a growth in her lungs. The next two weeks and numerous tests revealed that it had already spread to her brain.
Lori was given the option of months without treatment or hopefully a year with an aggressive course of chemo and radiation. For Lori this was an easy choice. For her family, for her grandkids she would fight.
As of the first week in March she has completed 4 sessions of chemo and 20 treatments of radiation. The out-of-pocket expenses are proving to be financially devastating at an already difficult time.
Lori has lived her life as a servant. As a single mother she was fully devoted to her kids. For over a decade her work with the Domestic Abuse Prevention Center touched the lives of hundreds of victims, providing hope to those who had none. After the DAPC lost their funding and was forced to close, she found her purpose working with mentally disabled adults. She worked closely with dozens of adults providing them the assistance needed so they could live independently.
Her spirit of service and being the single mother of two left Lori financially stable, but little more than that. Her family and the small farming community where she was born and raised would be very grateful for your part in helping Lori fight her battle.
The gift you give goes beyond a monetary impact. You will be giving encouragement, hope and precious time. We appreciate any amount that you’re able to give. No matter how big or small your gift, every cent will be considered a blessing.
We thank you for your prayers and for the hope you’re giving Lori.
