Hi, my name is Lorin, and I am trying to raise money for my mom. My mom slipped and fell and just had surgery to reattach her quadricep tendon on her left leg. She is retired and was delivering food for DoorDash to make ends meet. They say it could take between 6 to 12 months to get back to normal.

I ran down to St. Louis right away to bring her up to Minnesota, where I can take care of her. My husband and I have three children and an average-sized house, but we are determined to make it work having mom here with us. My two daughters have let their grandma take over their room, and they are sleeping on the couch. So it is a group effort done with a smile. Everyone is helping mom out.

My mom has always said yes to anyone else needing help. She has let people move in with her when they needed help, and never asked for a dime towards rent or food. She has given money to people who needed it, even though she didn't have much. My mom has also had some bad luck with her finances in recent years, and she is basically broke.

I cannot afford to pay my mom's bills; I wish I could. Please consider donating so that my mom can concentrate on her rehabilitation, and not worry about her bills. Just until she can get out there working again.
