My world changed forever on January 30th, 2026, when my husband died suddenly. He went to urgent care after a fall, and they discovered he had cancer in his spine, hips, lungs, brain, liver, and kidneys. The news was devastating, and I’m still trying to process the loss. While I was at work, one of our beloved dogs, Gypsy, passed away unexpectedly. When I came home for lunch to let her out, she was gone. The autopsy showed she had a tumor at the bottom of her heart that ruptured—maybe a broken heart because her Papa was gone.

Now, I’m facing everything alone. I need to raise money to help pay off our home, which means so much to me. There are projects John started that need to be finished, and I’ll have to hire people for lawn care, snow removal, and repairs. It’s a small one-bedroom house, but it’s my home. At 68 years old, I’m still working full time, but I have a slipped vertebrae and hand problems that make it hard to keep up with everything. Every day, I come home for lunch to care for our other dog, who grieves deeply for Papa and Gypsy, making it even harder emotionally.

I’m doing everything I possibly can, but I need some help and relief from these financial burdens. I’m so stressed because I don’t know how much longer I’ll be able to work, since I need surgery and can’t have it right now. If anyone can possibly help, I would be forever grateful. I’m trusting Jesus in everything. Thank you in advance for any support you can give.
