Help Lori See Again with Special Glasses

I have put alot of thought into this. Alot of people have asked how they can help.

Here is my journey that has got me to this point. This all started at a young age of 3 months old when they found cataracts on both eyes. I then had surgery on both eyes at the same time. At this time the lens were removed. This made me always need glasses. Then at my follow up appointment they found I had glaucoma at 3 months old. Very rare for this age. Through the years growing up i had this challenges. Drops all the time and several surgeries to take pressure off the eye. 3 to 6 month check ups my whole life. As I got older 8 had 2 tube stunts in my left eye to drain the fluid. Things were good after I had to change eye doctor's after 30 years my eye Dr. Retired. Very sad day for me. We found a couple other doctors we liked. We tried a cornea transplant that didnt help. The damage was to far gone from the glaucoma in my left eye. The right eye was still str9ng enough for both eyes. So I was still working and driving. Started with issues in 2021. Went to work luje a normal day. By the end of the day 8 couldn't see the computer. Could barely see to drive home. I made it home safe. Went to the eye doctor and my eye pressure was very high. Had to have a tube shunt in the right eve. Thinking this would help. Tried new glasses nothing helped. This was my follow up appointment and of corse I was by myself in the room. (Thanks to Covid ) the doctor came in and said im sorry but you can't drive or return to work. You need to go on disability. My heart fell apart. This was a day that I will never forget. My independence was taken. It was all in 5mins and nothing I could do but cry. I had a joved I loved and had to leave. Depend8ng on someone to help you all the time is not fun.i had a surprise in 2022. I found out I was 29 weeks pregnant and had my son at 37 weeks. It has been a challange since he was born. God had other plans for me. He keeps me going. Still seeing doctors to see if they can help just to hear sorry you are never gonna see. Heartbreaking. We just found a doctor that use to cone to still pond years ago. He now does micro and telescope. He got all my info and called me himself. He said Lori I am sure I can help you. So we made an appointment and went. Glad we did. He was amazing. I could see better then I ever have before. I left there in tears. This would make my life ao much easier. I would be able to read and color with Colton. Be able to see faces. If I don't know voices I dobt always know people. N always ask Mark who was that. I would need 2 sets of glasses. 1 for distance and 1 for close up. This would forever change my life. The reason the glasses are important now is there is nothing else they can do til hopefully one day they can reconstruction on the eye.
I am not asking for help. I know it's bad timing with the holidays. This will happen when it's supposed to. The glasses take 6 to 8 weeks to come on. We need to put half down to order them. Total is around $15,000

Thank you for reading my story. I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas!
