In 2024, my life changed dramatically after suffering two strokes. The second stroke left me with more significant challenges, making it impossible to return to the job I once had. Despite these setbacks, I am determined to move forward and am actively searching for remote work that I can manage with my current health. Unfortunately, my application for disability was denied, and I have had to use up my retirement savings just to get by.

Right now, we are behind on April's rent, and the only income we have is my husband's disability. The stress of not knowing how we will cover our basic needs has been overwhelming. The funds raised here will go directly toward paying our rent for April and May, giving us a bit of breathing room as I continue my job search and focus on recovery.
