Yesterday morning, my world was turned upside down when my business, Bosco's Dog Grooming, was broken into. In just a few moments, everything I had worked so hard for was taken from me. The thieves stole all of my savings—money that took me decades to earn and put aside for my family and my business. I am now left with nothing, feeling desperate and unsure of how to move forward. I have always prided myself on being independent and self-sufficient, and I have always had pride in knowing that I was able to help anyone when they needed it. That makes it incredibly difficult and humbling to ask for help now, but I am desperate. I have never felt more desperate and helpless in my life than I do right now, especially with two children, my business of 25 years at stake, and my three dogs relying on me.
