Help Lori Ligi Beat Stage 4 Lung Cancer!

Update- on 9/21/23 Lori passed away peacefully surrounded by all her closest loved ones.

Dear friends and family members,

It is with a heavy, heavy heart that I am reaching out to you for your prayers and financial support for my sister Lori Ligi, who was diagnosed with Stage IV Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer, in late July. She has been at Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital since her diagnosis due to complications from her cancer symptoms. As of recently, we understand the cancer has spread to both her adrenal glands, spleen, liver, ribs, and femur.

Lori is a single mom! She works very hard to financially and emotionally provide for her whole family. Currently, she is supporting my mother, Veronica who is 79, her daughter Bella who is just starting her journey as a college student, my nephew Jaden who will be a sophomore in Highschool and my niece Gianna who will be a Senior in High School. For some of you who might not know, we lost my oldest sister Christina Ligi, Gianna's mother unexpectedly in 2019 and since then Lori has taken Gianna under her wing. Jaden Ligi, my sister Teresa Ligi’s son, has been in Lori’s custody since 2013. Regardless, they are nothing short of her very own children.

To fight this cancer, Lori will be undergoing Chemotherapy, Radiation and possibly Immunotherapy. Due to her symptoms and her treatment plan, Lori has not been able to work. So, I am creating this in hopes to raise funds to help ease the medical bills and also for financial support for my family, who will no longer have a monthly substantial income.

My sister has worked so hard all of her life to help provide for her family members and now it's time for us to help her.
