Help Lori & Kids Rebuild Their Lives

In early June, after nearly a decade of marriage, God miraculously rescued us from a dangerously abusive situation. For years, I was monitored, isolated, and controlled, and I was conditioned to believe that things weren’t as serious as they truly were. When I finally realized the full extent of what was happening, I never thought there would be a way out. But by God’s grace, I managed to escape, and I now have a protective order in place to keep us safe.

My family and I have stayed in an undisclosed location, where we have been supported and helped in securing this protective order. For the last few months, we have had our basic needs provided by a shelter. Now, our time there has expired, and we need your help transitioning back into everyday life.

At this moment, we are asking for your prayers and financial support as we seek the comfort of God’s love and healing through our community. Currently, we have only the clothes and basic necessities we could manage.

- **Transportation:** We urgently need reliable transportation for our family.

- **Housing:** We are about to receive housing assistance, but moving to a new place with unfamiliar surroundings will be hard for the kids. We also need furniture, household items, toys, and other essentials to make our new house a home.

- **School Needs:** We need funds to help prepare the children for the upcoming school year.

- **Employment:** I am searching for an online job to support us. Any job leads or help finding employment would be greatly appreciated. I will also need childcare support, as being apart from the children while working will be emotionally tough.

Psalm 34:17-18 says, "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We are holding onto our faith that God will provide for us through the kindness of others.
