Our dear friends Lori, Javed and Noah lost their home in the Eaton Canyon fires. Thankfully they evacuated safely with their cats Mickey and Tony. However, like so many families in Altadena and the Palisades, they have lost literally everything else. With the daylight gone, the power out and the fire quickly approaching, they were rushed to evacuate immediately.
Lori and Javed and Noah have always been givers and it’s humbling for them to be the ones that now need help. There are many emotions they are dealing with, and they are at a loss for how to answer when people reach out and ask “What can I do?” Contributing here will ease the stress of them having to come up with even a simple response. This process will be long, arduous and costly, so ANY contribution, no matter the amount, will be truly significant to them as they grieve.
In the aftermath of this disaster, the world is watching Los Angeles, and seeing that the unprecedented outpouring of support has revealed the true heart and spirit of the people of this city. We need to continue giving, volunteering, and providing any resources to those who’ve lost everything.
