Help Lori in her battle with Stage 4 Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma

Hi there everyone. This isn't the easiest post to write. As most of you know, our mother, Lori, was recently faced with life-altering news that would change her life forever.

Walking into the emergency room on June 25th, 2024, our mom thought she had Covid. Little did we know what was in store for us. After multiple blood tests and dead ends, the doctors decided against the test results received and went for just one more. This blood test revealed that our mother's white blood cell count wasn't just a little off; it was a count of 350,000. That doesn't just read that she has cancer... it shows the type of cancer that she has is extremely aggressive and is at a later stage. She was rushed to Albany Med where we received the final diagnosis of Stage 4 Large B Cell Aggressive Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, one of the most aggressive types of lymphoma.

Our mom has worked every single day of her life since she was 14 years old, and now her life has come to a halt. Unfortunately, she was let go from her dream job, not knowing if and when she would ever return. Now that her life has been put on hold during her aggressive chemo treatments, she also has the financial burden to deal with too. Our mom would give the shirt off her back and her last penny to anyone in need. She has opened doors for many, giving opportunities that normally wouldn't be attainable. She still wakes up every day with her smile that lights up a room and is always eager to make people laugh. Every time we have fallen, she has always been right there to pick us back up. Now it's our turn to pick her up.

Asking for help isn't the easiest task to do while fighting this disease and losing a bit of your pride in the process. We're asking for everyone to rally around our mother and lift her up and support a woman who would give the world to those she loves and cares about. Please help take the worry of losing everything she's worked so hard for and make this new battle easier to fight.
