On December 31st, 2016, Lori was admitted to Sanford Hospital in Bismarck and within 3 days Lori was... paralyzed.
Lori Greshik Geist; friend, mother, wife, daughter, aunt, has been diagnosed with Guillain Barre Syndrome, a disorder in which your body's own immune system attacks your nervous system and in Lori's case, leaves you paralyzed and having to re-learn every function in life you once did with ease.
Fortunately, Lori is receiving good care at Bismarck Sanford Hospital and has started her road to recovery. However, this disorder is one that takes months to get back to a normal way of life.
This GoFundMe page has been started to help her out with needed financial support while she is working on her recovery. As you can imagine, not just the medical bills, but not being able to work until you recover months from now is a larger burden. Please help us ease that burden for Lori so she can concentrate on the strength needed to get well again.
