Help Lori Get to the Mayo Clinic
Donation protected
Lori has been through an incredibly difficult journey over the past year. After having a large malignant melanoma removed from her head, the cancer returned, and she was also diagnosed with a meningioma, a tumor in the front part of her brain. This led to seizures and required emergency surgery. Since then, Lori has faced significant cognitive challenges, severe depression, and struggles with basic body movements. While she tries to stay strong for those around her, it’s clear to her family that she is suffering deeply, both physically and emotionally.
Now, Lori needs to travel from Murfreesboro, Tennessee to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota for further evaluation and treatment. She can’t make this trip alone, and her husband Tony’s work schedule makes it impossible for him to accompany her. Her sister Patti will travel from Chandler, Oklahoma to Nashville to meet Lori, and then they’ll both travel together to Rochester, Minnesota. The costs of flights, housing, and other travel expenses are adding up quickly. While some medical expenses may be covered, there are still many unknowns, and the financial burden is growing. Lori’s support system includes her husband, siblings, daughter, a few close friends, but the demands of her care are overwhelming.
We’re reaching out to friends, family, and the community to help ease the financial stress so Lori can focus on her health and recovery. Any support will make a real difference in helping her get the care she needs and reminding her that she’s not alone in this fight.
