Let me tell you ‘bout my bestie…that’s her on the right!

Ok…we don’t have time for me to share all the wonderful things about Lori—the medical bills are already adding up.

Chances are, you already know that Lori is an amazing human who is adored by everyone she meets! You also know she has the absolute best, most infectious laugh! You don’t even need to know what started the laughter…you’ll hear her laugh (and I assure you, you WILL hear her!) and start laughing with her! And her advice…always on point, even if it’s not what you want to hear…I know that all too well!

It always seems the best people get dealt the worst hand.

Lori has already fought breast cancer. She had chemo and radiation and surgeries to kill the cancer. And she beat it, just like we all knew she would.

On Monday, 3/23, after being in intense pain for over a year, it was confirmed that the cancer is back—this time in her spine, ribs, and pelvis. It’s treatable, but not curable…yet. With surgeries and radiation, the doctor think Lori can have “a few good years”! And Lori wants to party her way through the time she has left…which isn’t shocking if you know Lori!!

Facing the challenge once again, I want to be able to help ease some of the financial burden she is going to experience. Surgeries will mean recovery time and missed work, so will treatment and follow up appointments in Boston.

Every dollar raised will go directly toward covering medical expenses, transportation to and from appointments, and essential bills while she continues her fight. Support from friends, family, and even strangers will allow her to focus her remaining time on fighting, instead of worrying about finances. Any support, whether through donations or sharing this fundraiser (OR BOTH!!!) would mean the world to Lori. Thank you for helping during this difficult fight and showing Lori that she is not alone.
