Help Lori Brockman in Her Time of Need
Donation protected
Hello, everyone! This GoFundMe is to benefit Lori Brockman and her kids.
UPDATE January 25th, 2025
Lori has finished 4 of 6 rounds of chemo. In the last few weeks, she began having a lot of pain in her leg on the same side that she had fractured her pelvis. Initially, it was thought it was probably just from physical therapy. However, it was not improving and Lori mentioned it to the doctor when she returned to the hospital last week to start her next round of chemo. They discovered she has an infection in her pelvis. On Friday, she had to have surgery to have the rod removed. Once they find out what kind of infection it is, they will know more about how long she will have to stay in the hospital. This has paused her chemo treatments until the infection is cleared up.
She hasn’t been able to work since July, so please consider donating and/or sharing if you feel led to do so. Thank you so much to everyone that has already donated. We also appreciate all the prayers and messages! She has overcome so much already, and we know this is just another hurdle in her recovery.

On July 27th, Lori went to the emergency room due to an elevated heart rate accompanied with neck and back pain. Tests performed that day showed multiple masses throughout her body. She received the diagnosis of Burkitt Lymphoma. Scans also showed a pelvic fracture and DVTs in both legs. Since this diagnosis, Lori has completed one round of chemotherapy. She also had to have a surgery on her back to remove a mass that was causing her to lose sensation in both her arms and legs. A few days after the surgery, Lori began having trouble breathing. This resulted in her being transferred to the ICU. She is currently on a ventilator. She is responsive and they hope to remove the breathing tube soon, possibly today. Lori is still able to communicate with us by nodding her head yes and no, so that is a great sign!
Lori is a nurse who has dedicated herself to helping others. Lori has always been the first to support anyone in need. Now it is her time of need and we need to band together to help her and her children. If you are able to give, please do. If you can only share this post, please do. Lori is the entire world to her children. I’ve never met someone so selfless and deserving of help. Please do what you can to help them.
Money raised will be provided to Lori and her kids with whatever they may need. During this time, there are medical bills, school expenses, groceries, and other needs the family has a part of daily life and trips to the hospital.
