Help Lori and John Fight Aggressive Cancers

I am making this to share my sister and brother in laws journey and to hopefully get some support for them.

My sister, Lori, was diagnosed in July 2024 with advanced ovarian cancer that has spread to her liver. She has completed 3 rounds of chemo and she is fighting it like a champ.

While my sister started her journey, her husband, John, was diagnosed with prostate cancer in August 2024. He will be making a treatment decision soon.

And to top it off, they both have the most aggressive type of their cancers.

My sister and her husband just celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary September 24. My sister has not been able to do much since her diagnosis due to being weak and having increasing weakness with each treatment. John has still be working 5-6 days a week at GM in Tennessee trying to support both of them financially. He will soon be needing to take time off for his own treatment.

They both have worked so hard all their lives and were able to build their dream home in lovely Tennessee 4 years ago. Our family and friends have been helping them with taking them to appointments and brining them meals. It’s hard when our family is in different states so we are grateful for the friends they have made in their short time in Tennessee.
