Help Lori and her family through tough times!

Hi. My name is Madi, I am Lori’s daughter. My mom had a stroke on Sunday and possible mini strokes before then as well. This event came to a complete shock from all of us and is a tough situation to handle. My mom is a fairly decent healthy person, with some high blood pressure, smoking, and eating Taco Bell a lot. The stroke made her lose a lot of her speaking abilities, made it harder for her to get around and use her right side, realize she now has diabetes that no one knew, and made a dent in her well-being. My mom is the strongest person I know so there is no doubt that she will get through this and be better than ever! But recovery comes with a hospital stay and going to in patient rehab for a while. She won’t be able to work and keep money coming in. There is house bills, car bills, medical bills, etc. My mom is an amazing and incredible human being who just wants to be with her family, go to the beach, enjoy summer, and do stuff with the people she loves.
