Loretta will be out of work for the next few months as she prepares for and recovers from a double disc replacement surgery (C5–C7). Her doctor placed her on leave two weeks ago, and although she has applied for Oregon medical leave, we all know the approval process can take time.
She’s a hardworking single mom who does everything she can to make ends meet—working full-time in a machine shop and driving for DoorDash on the side. This unexpected time off is a major financial setback, and it’s adding stress during an already difficult time.
Her surgeon expects her recovery to keep her out of work for at least 8–10 weeks. During that time, she’ll also need help with basic daily tasks, including meals for herself and her son, as she won’t be able to cook.
If you’re able to help in any way—whether it’s donating, sending a meal, or simply sharing this post—it would mean so much. We’ll also be including her Venmo, Cash App, and PayPal for anyone who would prefer to contribute that way.
Thank you all for supporting Loretta during this challenging time ❤️
