Help Loree Get Back on Her Feet

This past week, Loree, along with the other TAC artists, painted the gallery at the Troutdale Art Center. While working alone Sunday afternoon, Loree slipped off a ladder. Fortunately, she had her cell phone with her, and was able to call for help. After being taken to Mt. Hood Medical Center, it was determined she had broken her hip and was transported to Kaiser Permanente. Loree is having surgery to repair the broken bone. She will be in the hospital for a few days and then begins the long road to recovery.

All of us who know Loree consider her a great friend, love her work as an artist, and know she is a Superwoman. She is a vital part of our community. Loree recently retired from her full-time position at the Comfort Inn in Troutdale. With a limited income, since retirement, she has joined the workforce of “Starving Artists” to dedicate herself to her art. Over the past few months, she has worked her butt off developing her business, making contacts, and producing high quality art. All while working odd jobs. Living on a very tight shoestring budget she works 60 plus hours or more per week to make ends meet. The team of artists at the Troutdale Art Center wanted to create a fundraiser to help Loree. While she is working to, literally, get back on her feet we want to help her stay on her “financial feet”. Please pitch in to help Loree. She is going to need our prayers, friendship, support, and anything we all can do to get her through this ordeal. We hope you will join us.

Thank you for your consideration!
