Help Loreann kick cancer's butt!
Hi, my name is Ruthie and every day it's my job to help change the lives of single parents. But today, I am asking you to help change the life of someone who's very dear to me, my sister. She was once a single parent too.
My sister has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. Even though my sister is strong, resilient, and one hell of a fighter, her battle is just beginning, and we know it's going to be the fight of her life.
Prior to her cancer diagnosis and despite all of her other chronic health issues, she was a Door Dasher. Currently, she can't drive because she's in excruciating pain and her meds make her extremely drowsy.
My sister...
Loreann is 45. She has 4 children, 2 grandsons, and one grandbaby on the way. She has several dogs, bearded dragons, and one cat. Well, I guess she's really his; he claimed her.
My sister's dream is to someday own a farm so she can "rescue ALL the animals."
In her free time, you can find her painting, decorating (her favorite thing), and crafting. She also has a green thumb and loves to garden.
Currently, she lives with her cat, doggies, and dragons. They reside in her friend's home. He's a disabled vet that she helps care for. The house was built in the early '50s and is riddled with mold. It needs some serious TLC.
She lives on a fixed disability income of just $600 a month, and no matter how hard she tries to stretch it, it’s not enough to cover safe housing, medical needs and everyday necessities.
We are asking for donations to help my sister relocate, pay for transportation costs to and from her treatment facilities, pay for alternative cancer treatments, and buy everyday necessities.
Thank you, your support is greatly appreciated, and every contribution, no matter how big or small will make a huge difference in her life. We appreciate each and everyone of you. We truly mean it from the bottom of our heart! We couldn't do this without each and everyone of you. We appreciate all the love and support you have shown us during our time of great need.
