Support Lorand’s Fight Against Metastatic Pancreatic Cancer

Donation protected
Our father, Lorand, is one of the kindest, most generous people we know. He’s the kind of grandfather who never says no to playing dolls or building towers out of blocks. Family has always been at the center of his life, and his love for his granddaughters shines in everything he does. Now, he needs our help.

Lorand has been bravely battling Parkinson’s disease for years. Two and a half years ago, he was diagnosed with stage 3 pancreatic cancer—a fight he faced with incredible strength and resilience. For a while, we were grateful and hopeful, celebrating one year cancer-free. But shortly after Christmas, our world was turned upside down again. We received devastating news: the cancer had returned and metastasized to his bones, causing him immense pain and requiring immediate, aggressive treatment.

This latest diagnosis of metastatic pancreatic cancer has been devastating, compounding the toll on his health and spirit. Over these past years, he has endured more than anyone should: open-heart surgery, a whipple procedure where they removed part of the pancreas, crushed vertebrae requiring spinal fusion, chemotherapy, and radiation.

Despite everything, Lorand continues to fight. He still lights up at the sight of his granddaughters, Cassie and Elena. He finds joy in everyday moments and shows us the true meaning of courage.

But the road ahead is long and uncertain—and the financial burden is staggering. We’re raising funds to help cover the costs of ongoing treatments, medications, in-home care, and other medical expenses that continue to mount. Your support will help ensure that Lorand gets the care he needs and deserves, and allow us to focus on creating more precious memories with him.

If you are able, we would be deeply grateful for your donation. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a real difference. And if you can’t give at this time, please consider sharing this campaign and keeping our dad in your thoughts and prayers.

If we had just one wish, it would be for Cassie and Elena to have more time with their grandfather—to share more memories, more laughter, and more of the love he gave so freely to us.

Thank you for standing with us and supporting our incredible father during this unimaginably difficult time.

With love and gratitude,
Elizabeth and Zsolt
