My name is Amanda, I’m reaching out for help to support my late nephews fiancé and two young children after the tragic loss of my nephew Cole Misner-Nell.

Five years ago, Loraleigh and her fiancé, Cole Misner-Nell, made the brave decision to leave their hometown of Guelph and move to Winchester, Ontario. The move gave Cole the chance to reconnect with his biological father and build new relationships, while they built a life and a future together. Over time, they created a loving home and welcomed two beautiful children — Jensen (2) and Casey Lee (1).

Loraleigh devoted herself to raising their babies, staying home full-time to care for them, while Cole worked long days in construction to provide for the family. Money was always tight, but they made it work through love, determination, and the dream of giving their children a good life.

On January 23rd, everything changed.

Cole was driving home from work in a snowstorm when a tragic accident took his life. In an instant, Loraleigh lost her partner, the father of her children, and the person she built her entire life around.

Now, she is left navigating a future she never imagined — planning a funeral, caring for two toddlers, and facing the crushing reality of having no income to cover rent, food, or basic necessities. Living far from her family, Loraleigh has very little support close by as she tries to get through this overwhelming heartbreak.
