Help Lora Miller Denny Fight Pancreatic Cancer

On March 20th my sister Lora Miller Denny went to the ER with abdominal pain she had been having for about a month. They did a abdominal CT and found a mass on her pancreas. She was sent to a hospital in bridgeport where they did a endoscopy the next day to biopsy the mass. At that time they also found a large ulcer that they immediately started treating. On March 25th the results came back confirming our worst fears. The mass was cancerous, a rare form of pancreatic cancer. We also got news that her bile duct was blocked and she needs to have a biliary bypass before she can even have surgery to remove the cancer. She has become jaundice from a critically high bilirubin. The cancer is aggressive and in just two days the mass has grown much larger, time isn’t our friend. Lora is fighting for her life. We will beat this, but the financial hardship is big. She will be unable to work and will not have much of an income. Her husband is on a very fixed income.(SSI). Traveling expenses have already become overwhelming and living expenses in general will be difficult. We never know what life will throw us, but this has rocked our world. Not only is my sweet sister fighting for her life, but we are struggling not to financially lose everything so she has a home to come back to.
