Our dear friends at Lora Lee’s Family Farm in Duvall, Washington have recently endured devastating flood damage to both their home and their beloved 100-acre farm. Known for its U-Cut Christmas trees and breathtaking sunflower fields, this farm has been a place of joy, tradition, and community for so many families over the years.
Flood insurance is expected to cover the repairs to the structures. However, it does not cover many of the essentials that keep the farm running—such as tractors, farm vehicles, damage to the land itself, and other vital equipment and supplies. These are the tools that allow the farm to grow, thrive, and continue welcoming families year after year.
With the support of friends, family, and neighbors, Lora Lee’s family has already begun the hard work of rebuilding their lives and home. But the financial burden of replacing uninsured losses is overwhelming. That’s where we, their extended community, can step in. By contributing, you’re not just helping restore a farm, you’re helping preserve a cherished gathering place, a source of local beauty, and a family’s livelihood. Every donation, no matter the size, brings them closer to recovery and ensures that the farm can continue to flourish for generations to come.
Please join us in supporting Lora Lee’s Family Farm. Together, we can help them rebuild what was lost and keep the spirit of this special place alive. Follow their recovery journey on Facebook at Lora Lee’s Family Farm and Instagram @loraleesfamilyfarm.
