My name is Lora Mueller, and I live in Tujunga, California. I am currently battling rectal cancer and dealing with severe complications from an anal fistula caused by radiation. Recently, I spent a month in the hospital, much of it in a coma, and woke up with a colostomy bag. The experience was overwhelming, and I am now on disability, trying to manage both my health and my finances on a very limited income.

The hospital bill from my emergency surgery is now in collections, and I am facing additional surgeries in the future, including a possible reversal of the ostomy if my recovery goes well. I live alone and do not have family nearby who can help, so I am reaching out for support. The financial strain is making it difficult to keep my apartment, get to my ongoing cancer treatments, and afford the medical supplies I need to maintain my current condition.
