Help Lonny Battle Stage 4 Adenocarcinoma

On May 24,2023 Lonny was transported to the hospital for severe pain in his left leg that was prohibiting him from standing and moving his leg. As most of you know this is his good leg after his accident last summer with his right leg. It was determined that he had a tumor that had consumed his left kneecap and a good portion of his femur that resulted in the femur fracturing. On 5/26/23 he underwent a biopsy on the tumor and on 5/31/23 he underwent a full reconstruction of the femur, knee and tibia with metal rods. The biopsy came back as terminal stage 4 adenocarcinoma that has metastasized to his bones. It was later determined that the cancer started in his pancreas and moved to his knee and is currently growing in the spine and pelvis. Lonny will be released from the hospital the week of 6/20, where he will go to a skilled nursing facility for a few weeks while he gets strong enough to start treatment. Once he starts treatment, he will be staying with his daughter Breann in Spokane. Medicare unfortunately does not cover all the equipment he will need to get through all the treatment and move around without being uncomfortable.

The family is asking for help with getting the proper equipment for a man who has always been there for his family and friends. Lonny has always been the guy to take someone under his wing, lend a hand, and be there for the community. Please help us help Lonny and his family during this trying time.
