Help Lonnie's fight against Covid-19

Please keep my brother Lonnie in your thoughts and prayers as he battles COVID-19 and the long road to full recovery ahead. On March 29th, 2021 Lonnie was diagnosed with COVID-19 after experiencing a high fever and shortness of breath. On April 2nd after days of fighting symptoms at home he collapsed and was rushed to the ICU and admitted immediately. A few days later multiple organs began to fail due to complications from the virus.

Prior to Lonnie COVID-19 diagnosis he was a healthy 30 year old living a full life in Portland, OR. He dedicated his life to fitness and took his background in wrestling and bodybuilding and applied his skills and had a very successful career as a personal trainer. He lives for helping others, exploring and outdoors and his cats mean the world to him. The only Lonnie I have know is SO strong, almost TOO stubborn at times and seeing him so physically venerable is terrifying.

Its didn't seem real when the doctors told us he needed to be intubated or he wouldn't survive. He stayed in an induced coma for three days to give his body a chance to rest. Every breath he took has such a struggle and tole on his body. The staff at Providence Medical Center in NE Portland (ICU) stayed 24 hours a day bedside until he was ready to wake up, without their expertise he would not be alive. Lonnie has ben in the ICU for 39 days now and is making progress everyday to get back to the life he loves.

Despite being hooked up to 24 hour blood dialysis, 4+ hours of daily kidney dialysis, 40+ lbs of weight loss he pushes himself everyday to get stronger. Unexpected things happen but bills don't stop and I would love to take some financial stress off of him so he can focus on his physical and mental recovery. He would never ask for help but would be the first to help a friend in need and needs your support right now! I know times are crazy right now so any small donation helps and is greatly appreciated. We hope to get Lonnie transitioned out of the ICU soon so he can have more visitors hopefully! I will keep everyone posted with updates weekly to keep you up to date with his progress .
ALL of the love, support and prayers have not gone unnoticed! I know Lonnie can feel your love and positivity!
Let's keep that same energy!
-feel feel to share your favorite memory of Lonnie with your donation, we would love to see them <3
Lonnie we LOVE YOU! Stay STRONG!
