Help Lonnie Rebuild After Losing His Legs

Hello, my name is Lonnie Richards and for 25 years, I was a truck driver. Last year, I had some complications with my health. I got a couple of wounds on my feet, which put me in the hospital for over 3 months. I thought I had gotten better. I got out of the hospital and went back to work, only to be taken away from one of the things I love to do the most. I had to come off the road, go straight home, and into ICU. Within 48 hours, both of my legs were taken from me. I've spent the last 6 months in the hospital and rehab. Even though I no longer have my legs, my spirit is still intact. With the love of my wife, my 11 kids, and my family, I'm still here, and I'm thankful for them all.

Right now, I'm asking for some help. Usually, I wouldn't ask for a thing. I always felt that if I could get up and work, I could do it on my own, but now I can't, and for once, I do need help. If you can, please help me and my family because this new road, this new life, has only just begun.
