Help Lonnie Overcome a Life-Threatening Dental Infection

Hi there! My name is Lonnie Garcia, and I am a transgender cartoonist in the Pacific Northwest.

For the past few years, I have been battling an infection in my back right molar, with two failed root canals not helping mitigate the problem. Recently, I have had a flare-up, and my emergency dentist said I now have a confirmed chronic abcess, with a possible abcess on the left side as well. If left untreated, an infected tooth can cause serious problems, and can spread to the heart or brain, possibly being fatal. As of now, the abcess is making me very nauseous and weak, and I am in pain.

Currently, I am seeking a job, and only have a part-time job where I work around four times a month, so I do not have the funds to cover the costs of my treatment, which includes an appointment for evaluation and imaging, tooth extraction and an implant, and a possible root canal and crown on the left side, all of which combined can run up to six thousand dollars or more.

I use an antiseptic mouthwash to keep the swelling at bay since I have not been able to afford treatment on my problem teeth, but it is only a band-aid for a rapidly growing problem. I am starting to develop bone loss in my jaw from the infection, and have severe TMJ. If I do not get it treated as soon as possible, it will severely impact, or possibly take my life, which is why I am here asking for help.

I would love to continue being able to do what I do, and to do so, I want to be pain free. If it is within your ability to help, you would be massively contributing to the ability to live my life moving forward, and I would be incredibly grateful.
