Help Lonnie and Samantha Rebuild After the Devastating Flood

When the Nolichuckey River flooded, Lonnie and Samantha lost their home and all of their belongings (including the school buses they drive). They live outside the national flood hazard area (according to the FEMA Flood Map Service Center), but the river level was so high it submerged their home and property in almost 6 feet of water. Insurance will not cover any of this devastating loss. They desperately need help.

Lonnie and Samantha have always helped those in need, and love serving those in the Greene County School System through their roles as bus drivers and custodians. We appreciate anything you can share to help them start over. Thank you to ALL the volunteers and friends who have given their time, resources, and expertise to help.
