With heavy hearts, we said goodbye to Lonni today. That being said, all money now will be used for the funeral expenses and any other obstacles that comes in the way of Samantha and their children.

On behalf of my cousin, Samantha Swansbrough, and her fiancé, Lonni Whitmore, my family and I are hoping to help fundraise to get through these tough times. Lonni is mainly known for his racing but to our family he is a great father, friend, son and all around person. He has 2 kids, Bentley, and Cory as well as being a stepfather to Dominic and Tyson, while also taking in Samantha's sister, Sydney. While Lonni was holding his newborn, Cory, he felt a sharp pain in his side. Him and Samantha rushed to the emergency room and found out the worst news imaginable. After running a few tests, he was diagnosed with stage 4 renal cell carcinoma. They found out yesterday this is a rare kidney cancer. With the cancer being as aggressive as it is, he will be going through immune therapy to help fight it. Through this hardship he and his family are facing, he will be taking a leave of absence from work. With the cost of travel, health care and continuing to provide for their children, we ask for your financial help along this journey.
