Help Longley Recover from Emergency Surgery

Longley has been my loyal companion for the past 10 years, ever since I adopted him and his brother, Pongo, as puppies. Over the last few days, I noticed Longley wasn’t himself, and after a visit to the vet, we received devastating news: he has a mass on his spleen that’s causing internal bleeding. The only option is emergency surgery to remove his spleen, followed by testing to determine if the mass is cancerous. Today, Longley is undergoing this critical surgery, and I am doing everything I can to give him the best chance at recovery.

Longley and Pongo are my best friends and have been by my side through every up and down. Facing this emergency has been heartbreaking and overwhelming. The costs for Longley’s care include diagnostic testing, the surgery itself, 24-hour intensive care, and the testing of the mass. As someone who loves these dogs deeply, I want to make sure Longley gets the treatment he needs, but I can’t do it alone.
