As many already know, our beloved Dad, your friend and CB broadcasting legend, Lonesome Bob,

is facing some health issues. The Brazell family has been struggling with the setbacks associated

with this hardship for a while, and we are now turning to you for support.

A little over a year ago, Bob was diagnosed with stage 5 kidney failure, and doctors informed us that

he requires ongoing dialysis treatment to survive and, ideally, a kidney transplant to maintain his

quality of life. Over the next several weeks and months, we worked together to get him the

lifesaving treatment he needed. This involved numerous doctor appointments, multiple surgeries in

Grand Junction, and regular 3x per week dialysis treatments at the nearest dialysis clinic,

approximately 200 miles away in Montrose (complicated further when the Blue Mesa Middle bridge

went out). Eventually, Bob was able to get set up on home dialysis but continues to require travel

for various appointments. (Check the updates for more on this.) We are still working toward getting him a transplant.

This journey has taken a heavy toll on our family physically, emotionally, and financially. We are

reaching out to ask for your help with a donation today. Your contribution will primarily offset the

burden from travel and treatment costs over the past year. It will allow us to focus on Bob’s health

while creating happy memories with granddaughter, Emily, and nurturing the well-being of the

whole Brazell family. Your kindness and generosity in the past have not been forgotten and we are
