Help London Rebuild After Camp Mystic Flood

Hi everyone,

I’m putting this together for my sweet friend London, who so many of you know and love.

This summer, London was working as a counselor at Camp Mystic when the flooding happened. In the middle of the night—around 3 a.m.—she woke up to girls screaming and water rising fast all around them. Even in that chaos, London stayed calm and made sure every single one of her 17 campers got out safely. She didn’t think twice about herself—she just did what she always does: she showed up for everyone else.

But in the process, London lost everything she had—all of her clothes, bedding for school, shoes, laptop, phone, wallet and ID, precious keepsakes, and all the daily things she depends on.

If you know London, you know how much selfless she is. A few years ago, London’s father figure passed away after a battle with cancer, and she has worked so hard to build her life and support herself through college. She spends her summers at Camp Mystic mentoring young girls and using what she earns to help pay for school at DBU in the fall.

London is truly one of the most joyful, caring, and selfless people I’ve ever met. She pours so much love into her campers and everyone around her, and she does it without ever asking for anything in return.

The goal of this GoFundMe is to help her start putting the pieces back together:

• Replace clothes, bedding, shoes, and daily essentials

• Get a new laptop and phone for school

• Help with tuition and expenses this fall

• Give her a little breathing room to process everything she’s been through
