Help London Cole Get a Reliable Car for Success

Hi everyone, my name is London Cole,

Some of you may know a little about my journey, but for those who don’t—about three and a half years ago, I entered the foster care system and was taken in by an incredibly supportive family during my freshman year of high school. Life before that wasn’t easy, but since then, I’ve worked really hard to grow into someone I can be proud of.

I’ve made honor roll every year, and I’m also an athlete—shot put is my event, and I’ve been honored to become a CAL All-Star while continuing to hit new personal records each season.

I recently earned my driver’s license, and I’m hoping to work 40 hours a week this summer as a camp counselor at the Y camp in Rowley. I’m excited to take on more responsibility and save money toward my future—including college.

What I really need now is a reliable used car to get back and forth to work, school and eventually to college. I plan to cover the cost of my own insurance, but the price of a car is just more than we can afford right now.
