My name is Katie and

I’m reaching out on behalf of a close friend who is going through a serious and unexpected medical situation.

What started as severe mouth pain led to a visit to an emergency dentist, where they were told the issue would be resolved with a tooth extraction and a root canal. Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse. The pain didn’t improve—it escalated.

After continued suffering, it was discovered that they had developed a serious bone infection. This resulted in the need to have three additional teeth removed and led to a week-long hospital stay. Even after being discharged, the recovery process isn’t over. They will require multiple IV infusions and continued medical care to fully heal.

Because of this, they’ve been unable to work and are now facing mounting medical bills along with everyday living expenses. Like many of us, missing even a short period of work creates real financial strain—especially when combined with unexpected medical costs.

We’re asking for help to support them during this difficult time. Donations will go toward:

- Medical and hospital bills

- Ongoing treatment, including IV infusions

- Basic living expenses while they recover and are unable to work
