Support Maria D Soto’s battle against Covid-19
Hi,
My name is Sasha and I'm raising funds for my aunt Maria Delores Soto (Lolis). In March 2021 she developed flu-like symptoms and was diagnosed with COVID-19 in the emergency room in Smithville, TX. She was sent home and asked to home quarantine, a few days later she began to have difficulties breathing causing her to revisit the emergency room in Smithville. From there she was transferred to Ascension Seton Medical Center hospital in Austin, TX. After a few days, she was admitted into the ICU because of her very low oxygen levels. After being in the ICU for several days, she was intubated because her lungs couldn’t do the work anymore! Then the doctors decided to put her on an ECMO machine to give her heart and lungs time to rest and help her body fight the virus. It's June now and she continues to fight for her life at Seton. My Aunt is a fighter and she hasn't given up yet, so we are not giving up either! Even though she recently tested negative for Covid-19, the virus damaged her vital organs and the road to recovery is still a long way! I decided to make this GoFundme account for my aunt because she's a single mother with two young boys, ages 9 and 16, and this has created a financial hardship for her and her family. Hola, mi nombre es Sasha y estoy creando esta pagina para recaudar fondos para ayudar a mi tia Lolis. Ella se enfermo de Covid-19 en Marzo 2021. Ella fue trasladada a un hospital de Austin, TX cuando empezó a tener bajos niveles de oxígeno y al tener dificultad para respirar. Ella se encuentra en la unidad de cuidados intensivos y su recuperación llevara tiempo. Con el favor de Dios que mi tia Lolis se recupere de esto y que este de regreso a lado de sus dos hijos.
