Advice needed please❤️
Our pup Lola who is 9 months has a complicated fractured in her front leg which require surgery with pins and plates to fix.

Took her to the Vets yesterday straight away. I thought i had insurance with them as i pay them £18 pound a month to them but apparantly this is only a healthcare plan and doesnt cover any treatment after having xrays which they estimated the cost at £530, our vets bill came to just shy of £1000 yesterday for x-rays alone, which we paid. Only to be told she needs surgery and if we cant afford the surgery then the only other option is putting her to sleep. The surgery is going to cost between another £4000-£5000 at least. We are both self employed and dont recieve any benefits but our work has suffered badly the past 6 months because of lockdown and restrictions. Weve just had to pay a huge VAT and tax bill, otherwise we would have had the money. When we put our books in tax return in April, we are both going to be at a loss for the year and will be eligible for working tax credit because of the kids(which is one of the benefits pdsa require) . But she needs treatment now. I cant borrow money off family and friends as they are all in the same position. They wont give us a loan because of the losses this year and coronavirus.
Does anyone please know somewhere or a charity that can help with the surgery? Im willing to travel anywhere in the UK. I dont expect it for free, but i cant muster up £5000 plus their added fees on top.
Ive tried PDSA etc but they say we need to be in reciept of benefits for them to help even for reduced treatment
Ive got 2 days worth of painkillers for her but a decision has to be made later on today.
Shes a beautiful, very healthy pup otherwise and i can't bear the thought of putting her to sleep because of something so minor.
I know its my own stupid fault for not checking the healthcare plan and i can assure you i hate myself for it right now.
All evening yesterday and all through the night ive been trying to find some help or someway of getting the money. When summer comes and lockdown eases we would have been able to afford it easily, or even if we didnt have our VAT and tax bill in January.
I know there will be some that say dont get a dog if you cant afford it, but we always have been able to and our other has always had the best vetinary care.
As someone whos always managed to fend for themselves and never relied on help for my bills, i can assure you that im absolutely mortified to be asking for help .
Thank you so much for reading this, and i hate having to do this.
I am waiting for X-ray photos and reports from the Vetinary surgery as requested to attach.
