Hi everyone,

My name is Isabella, and I’m a veterinary technician. I’ve dedicated my career to caring for animals, but right now, my own best friend needs help.

Lola is my heart dog—my best friend, my cuddle buddy, my sweet diva. She’s never met a stranger, always offering love and affection to everyone she encounters. Her gentle soul and sassy personality make her truly special, and she’s been by my side through so much, including moving across states together.

A few days ago, Lola suddenly began vomiting at home. At first, she seemed to recover, but when it happened again, I knew something was seriously wrong. I rushed her to the emergency hospital, where diagnostics and an ultrasound revealed something I never expected—a foreign body lodged in her GI tract.

This afternoon, Lola is scheduled for an enterotomy to remove the obstruction. Making the decision for surgery was immediate. Her only other option was euthanasia, and I couldn’t imagine losing her so suddenly. While I trust the skilled medical team caring for her, I cried at the thought of almost losing my girl. I just want her to have every chance at recovery and to come back home to her loving, comfortable life.

As many of you know, emergency veterinary care is expensive. To make things harder, I suffered a major shoulder injury at work in June. Because of it, I haven’t been able to work as many shifts, and finances are tighter than usual. I would never normally ask for help, but with Lola’s sudden emergency, I need some support to get through this.

While the total cost of surgery and care is much higher, I am only asking for help with a portion of the bill. I’m committed to covering the rest myself. Any contribution—big or small—will go directly toward Lola’s treatment and recovery.
