Lola, my granddaughter’s sweet and shy black lab, has already overcome so much in her young life. She was abandoned and left in a trash bag before my granddaughter adopted her, and since then, they have become inseparable companions. Lola has brought so much joy and comfort to my granddaughter, especially as she navigates the challenges of being a college student. Their bond is truly special, and they mean everything to each other.

Recently, Lola was hit by a car and suffered several fractured vertebrae. The accident was devastating, and the emergency vet bills are overwhelming. As a college student, my granddaughter is doing everything she can to care for Lola, but the financial burden is more than she can manage alone. Despite the pain and uncertainty, Lola continues to show her gentle spirit and resilience, inspiring everyone who knows her.
