Help Lola Fight Cancer

Hi, my name is Chloe and I’m reaching out with a very heavy heart. My beautiful soul dog, Lola, has recently been diagnosed with cancer, and I’m doing everything I can to give her the best chance at more happy, healthy years by my side.

At the beginning of August, Lola went in for what we thought would be a routine hernia repair. She had lived with a hernia for years, and it had started to get bigger, so the vets advised it was best to fix it before it caused serious problems. But when they opened her up, they discovered it wasn’t a hernia at all—it was a mass. They removed it and sent it for testing, and the results broke my heart: it came back as a mast cell tumour, low to medium grade.

When we went back to get her staples out, I asked the vet to check another lump. A biopsy confirmed what I had been dreading—it was the same cancer.

Lola still has so much life, joy, and love in her. You would never know she’s fighting this horrible disease—she’s her same sweet, happy self. But we can’t wait, because with mast cell tumours, the longer we delay treatment, the worse it can get.

Unfortunately, my pet insurance has now reached its limit, and the costs of the treatments and surgeries Lola needs are overwhelming. Asking for help is never something I imagined I’d have to do, but I will do anything for my girl.
