Help Loki the Paw Paw Therapy Dog Get Back to the Kids Who Love Him!

Loki is a 4 year old Rescue German Shepherd Dog who works full-time at his local schools, bringing comfort, support, academic interventions, and joy to the kids and staff. What many don’t realize is that the school doesn’t cover any veterinary healthcare costs for him. When something serious happens, it’s entirely on our family — and right now, we’re facing one of the toughest situations we’ve been through along this therapy dog journey.

Loki is very sick! He’s been struggling with severe vomiting (with blood in it) and diarrhea, and he’s lost over 5 pounds in just one week. We have already spent over $1,600 on vet bills and are now waiting on radiology results before we move forward tomorrow with a plan of what to do next. The vet today said there’s a good chance he will need to have emergency surgery tomorrow for a blockage in his intestines. If that happens, the cost will rise by thousands more.

All I want is for Loki to get the absolute best veterinary care so he can get healthy and back to the schools where everyone misses him so much.
