Our pup Loki is a shy but loving dog who has brought so much joy to our lives. Along with being gentle and sweet, Loki struggles with anxiety, which makes everyday care—like brushing his teeth—very difficult. Recently, he developed a painful mouth infection that has made it hard for him to eat, play, and enjoy his days. After visiting the vet, we learned that he needs dental surgery, including X-rays and tooth extractions, to stop the infection and relieve his pain. Because of his anxiety, at-home care isn’t possible, so professional treatment is the only way to help him heal. We want to give him the comfort and care he deserves, but the costs are overwhelming for our family.
