Hello, my name is Natalie, and I’m reaching out for help because my pup, Loki, needs TPLO surgery to repair his torn ACL.

For the past four months, I’ve been struggling to find a higher-paying job to support us, as my current salary only covers basic necessities. Loki’s condition has been worsening, and I’m deeply worried about the long-term effects if we can’t get him the surgery soon.

I adopted Loki back in 2016 when I was 19. Just two years prior, I had been through an incredibly painful time—testifying in court for abuse, kicked out of the foster care system, and left to face the world on my own, broken and hurting. That’s when I found Loki. He has been more than just a pet—he’s been my first love, my first true best friend. We are two bonded souls, and that has had a major impact on me, in my journey towards healing.

I wanted to thank Loki for all that he has done and given me over the years by providing him with the freedom he deserves. Together, Loki and I saved up and bought an RV, so we could hit the road and live the life we both dreamed of - hiking, exploring, and finding peace together on the road.

But less than a month into our new life, Loki tore his ACL.

My heart broke when I found out. After all the hard work to create this new chapter for us, it felt like everything came crashing down.

It’s crucial that Loki receives this surgery, but I simply do not have the financial means to cover the cost.

This is more than just a surgery for him—it’s the chance to get back to the life we’ve built together, and the chance to continue our adventures.
