Loki, my sister’s 6-month-old puppy, has always been a playful and loving companion. He had all of his puppy vaccinations, but still became ill and started showing signs of sickness, so we rushed him to the vet on Wednesday. Unfortunately, the initial test for parvo came back negative, so he was sent home with antibiotics and fluid injections. Despite our hopes, Loki showed no improvement. We took him back to the vet on Thursday, where he stayed for a few hours on IV fluids, but again, no one thought to retest for parvo. He was sent home once more, still not feeling any better.
That evening, Loki’s symptoms became unmistakable, and we rushed him to the emergency clinic late at night. After hours of waiting, he was finally diagnosed with parvo and has been hospitalized ever since. The emotional toll has been heavy, but the financial burden is even greater. We’ve already spent so much on vet visits that didn’t help, and now the emergency care is expected to be a huge amount, with a large payment needed upfront. This is a lot for anyone to handle, and my sister is doing everything she can to make sure Loki gets the best chance at recovery.
We’re reaching out for help because every little bit truly makes a difference. Your support will go directly toward Loki’s medical bills and ongoing care. If you’re able to contribute, we would be incredibly grateful. Even if you can’t donate, your prayers and well wishes mean the world to us as we hope for Loki’s full recovery. Thank you for being part of Loki’s fight and for supporting our family during this difficult time.
